1. Scope and who we are
ClyGo LLC ("ClyGo," "we," "us," or "our") provides local delivery services and technology for people requesting deliveries, drivers completing them, businesses coordinating them, and recipients following delivery progress. This policy applies to the ClyGo Customer app, ClyGo Driver app, recipient-tracking pages, related websites, support, and other services that link to it (together, the "Services").
A business using ClyGo may provide information about its own customers or recipients. That business is responsible for having authority to provide the information, and ClyGo uses it to perform the requested delivery and related support.
2. Information we collect
Account and contact information
We may collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, login and authentication records, profile details, communication preferences, account role, and information you give Support. We do not ask you to send passwords, full payment-card numbers, Social Security numbers, or driver-license numbers through the public support form.
Prelaunch and early-access information
If you ask to hear about ClyGo's launch, we may collect your name, email address, mobile number, ZIP code or service area, device type, confirmation that you are at least 18, customer delivery interests, and separate email and text-message preferences. A person interested in driving may also provide a general vehicle type and confirm readiness to complete later license, insurance, registration, identity, background, and vehicle review. The public interest form does not request Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver-license or insurance-policy numbers, bank information, or verification documents.
Delivery information
We collect pickup and drop-off addresses, access and handoff instructions, sender and recipient details, package descriptions and photos, requested service details, delivery status and timestamps, cancellations, ratings, support records, and proof of pickup or delivery. Proof may include photos, notes, confirmation records, and related metadata needed to document a safe handoff.
Driver and vehicle information
Drivers may submit identity, eligibility, profile, vehicle, insurance, license, verification-photo, payout, tax, and compliance information. If ClyGo enables an outside identity-verification or background-screening provider, we will identify that step and provide any additional notice or consent required before information is submitted.
Payment and payout information
When customer payment or driver payout features are enabled, Stripe processes those transactions. Stripe receives payment or bank-account details directly under its own privacy terms. ClyGo receives transaction details such as amount, status, transaction identifiers, payout status, and limited billing or payment-method information. ClyGo does not intend to store full payment-card numbers.
Device, app, and communications information
We may collect IP address, device and app identifiers, operating system, app version, push-notification token, language, time zone, log-in activity, feature interactions, diagnostics, crash information, network events, security signals, cookies needed for private recipient tracking, and support messages with ClyGo.
On prelaunch pages, ClyGo may record a limited first-party funnel event such as a page or audience-selector view, form step, validation error, completed signup, verification, or share action. These events use coarse page, audience, step, and destination labels plus server-generated pseudonymous hashes. The event payload does not include form answers, contact details, precise location, application references, URL query strings, or referrer URLs. A short-lived, HTTP-only first-party session cookie helps avoid counting the same view repeatedly.
3. Precise and background location
Driver location supports nearby-offer matching, pickup and drop-off progress, arrival detection, navigation, estimated arrival information, delivery proof, safety response, fraud prevention, and dispute review. Background access helps these functions continue when the Driver app is not visible. Device settings may allow a driver to limit or stop this access, but doing so can prevent online or active-delivery features from working correctly.
The Customer app does not request or collect the customer device's precise or background location. Customers enter or select pickup and drop-off addresses for delivery service, and those addresses may reveal a location even though device-location permission is not used.
A recipient's private tracking page receives delivery milestones and limited, privacy-safe information. It is not intended to display the driver's exact live route. A recipient can decline tracking or stop an active tracking link using its privacy controls.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Create, authenticate, secure, and support accounts.
- Quote, request, match, route, complete, document, and support deliveries.
- Show necessary delivery information to the customer, assigned driver, business, or recipient.
- Process payments, refunds, adjustments, tips, earnings, payouts, and required financial reporting.
- Verify drivers, vehicles, insurance, eligibility, and compliance where required.
- Send service messages, status updates, support responses, safety notices, and permitted marketing communications.
- Record prelaunch interest, understand where service is requested, prepare customer and driver onboarding, and send launch or availability notices through the channels you separately choose.
- Prevent fraud, account misuse, unsafe conduct, prohibited deliveries, and payment abuse.
- Investigate crashes, complaints, claims, chargebacks, safety reports, and delivery disputes.
- Improve reliability, accessibility, performance, dispatching, navigation, and user experience.
- Meet legal, tax, accounting, insurance, regulatory, and law-enforcement obligations.
6. How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including providing the Services, maintaining safety and security, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal, tax, accounting, insurance, and regulatory duties. The period depends on the record and the reason it exists.
- Account and verification records may remain while an account is open and for a reasonable period after closure.
- Delivery, payment, payout, tax, fraud, safety, dispute, and support records may be retained for up to seven years, or longer when a claim, legal hold, investigation, or law requires it.
- Precise trip-location records are retained only for operational, safety, fraud, proof, and dispute needs, after which they may be deleted, reduced, or aggregated unless tied to a longer-lived record.
- Recipient tracking links expire or can be withdrawn, but related delivery records may remain under the retention rules above.
- Prelaunch interest and consent records may remain while we prepare a launch or onboarding notice, until you withdraw the relevant preference, or for a limited period needed to document consent, suppression, security, and legal compliance.
- Backups and system logs may persist for a limited period until they rotate out securely.
When deletion is appropriate, we delete, de-identify, or restrict information. De-identified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably identify a person may be retained for analysis and service improvement.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
You can update certain account details in the relevant app, manage device permissions and notifications in device settings, go offline in the Driver app to stop work-related tracking, decline or withdraw recipient tracking, and opt out of nonessential marketing messages using the instructions provided.
Email and text-message choices are separate and optional. Agreeing to receive marketing texts is not a condition of buying or using ClyGo. Message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply. When text messaging is enabled, reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Marketing emails will include an unsubscribe method. Withdrawing a marketing preference does not stop necessary account, safety, support, or delivery messages that you separately request or that ClyGo is permitted to send.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of personal information, or to appeal a privacy-request decision. We may need to verify your identity and account before responding. We may deny or limit a request where law allows—for example, to preserve payment, tax, safety, fraud, or dispute records.
To request account deletion, use the in-app account controls when available or submit the ClyGo deletion-request form. For another privacy request, use the Support form and select “Privacy or account data.”
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, authenticated sessions, restricted service credentials, and secure transport where supported. No service can promise absolute security. Protect your sign-in credentials, keep devices updated, and contact Support if you believe an account or tracking link has been misused.
9. Children
ClyGo accounts are not intended for children under 18. A delivery recipient may be named by a customer, but a child should not create or operate a ClyGo account. If you believe a child provided personal information directly to ClyGo without proper authorization, contact Support so we can review it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as ClyGo changes. We will post the revised version here, change the “last updated” date, and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update means the revised policy applies to later use, subject to applicable law.
